So I'm new to this whole blogging thing. Not quite sure how it works yet, but it seems cool. Guess you could say I'm technilogically challenged.
I will take a min to let everyone know what I've been up to lately. I am 22 now and counting. Pretty scary to think about. I am working at Praxair Inc and been with this company for almost 5 years! We are a logistics company in the Semiconductor Industry and my current title is Associate Buyer. I started with the company as a Material Handler which was the fancy title they gave me when I was loading and unloading boxes off our dock for a pretty paycheck that barely paid for the roof over my head. Since then, they have moved me from there into the receiving dept, the shipping dept and now in the purchasing dept. I am quite blessed to have moved up so quickly. I like to think it had a lot to do with my wonderful work ethic and great professional attitude, but who am I kidding? :) I am very happy with where I am in my career. The company is great, the people are great, and the hours and the pay aren't bad either. I have been very fortunate in this area.
I am not currently in school, altough I have been very dilligent in my efforts to find some fincancial aid out there so I can get going on that. I took a couple classes at the community college in the summer of '07 and found that paying for school all on my own was gonna be way harder than I thought. So that is a work in progress...
Now that I think about it.. work is really all I have really been up to lately. So sad. Hopefully this blogging thing will be fun, I lead a pretty boring life.. so we shall see what comes of this...
To be continued...
